We all have that sweet treat that every time you go to your local bakery you look for, whether it be doughnuts, éclairs, or every pastry known to man kind, well mine is the wonderful caramel slice. Once you grow into your twenty’s you start looking at what the amazing sugary delectable treats ingredients are, you realize that there is more then meets the eye!
okay, so the raw version does not taste as buttery & sugary as you may of first hoped but i am that in love with it that i actually crave this slice for a sweet treat! im not one to stick with a recipe & never look at improving – i did my research & tried a few different variations and tried a few Raw versions at local cafes – but yep just as i thought i cam straight back to this one! The recipe is very easy to follow, there is not a million & one ingredients to buy – oh & the fact its delicious & definitely helps a sugar craving.

Its funny how the minute you see products you would normally only get in your local health food store pop up in all your major supermarkets – yep its a craze :|! i think it first started when there was an over demand for products that where gluten free, dairy free, organic – basically anything that was better for our body’s. i was shopping at my local coles when i noticed that a very well known salt & pepper brand had just brought out Himalayan salt! i was interested as the salt was popping up in all these recipes & hearing that drinking it on a daily basis was very healthy for your body! was this the next big thing hitting the health world since organic apple cider vinegar?
Well im impressed – a simple swap in our pantry cupboard is all you need to start introducing this wonder salt product into our lives! & the next step is drinking it in water called a “sole” which is himalayan salt with water! . the salt lamps are also amazing , the glow is beautiful! as well as a small bar of the salt to have in the shower which helps with blemish prone skin.cant wait to make these small changes for a healthier body!!
