Fruit Sorbet
Recipe makes 4 to 6 portions

½ cup Limoncello OR Simple Syrup flavored with Citrus Zest
1 ¼ pounds (20 ounces) Frozen Seasonal Fruit such as Peaches, Pineapple, Mango, Dragonfruit,
Combine the Limoncello or Simple Syrup and frozen fruit in the container of the Vitamix blender (or other high powered blender.) Secure the lid on the canister and start the blender at speed 1. With the machine running slowly increase the speed to 10. Use the tamper to press the fruit into the blades if needed. In about 20 to 25 seconds you should hear the motor change pitch and the sorbet should form into mounds inside the canister. Turn the motor off immediately to prevent melting.
Serve the sorbet right away or chill in the freezer for an hour for a more firm texture.
